This "Winter Afternoon" is actually
a monotype. It was so ghost-like,
going into it with pencil really drew it out.

I like this square little oil. After looking at
Contemporary Russian artists,
my "style" was affected quite positively, I
think.

After an afternoon working with Al, this a page
of him and his various "parts". Sold to someone
who is in Hokomi Therapy.

When I ask artist friends for advice on
painting..they tell me to paint like I draw!
I wish it were that simple a solution for
me. Not having ever taken a an oil painting
class (it is time to!)...I am experimenting and
these are the results.
Just trying to find my way.

Kelsey wrapped in a sheet.
This reminded me of a Nautilus.

This is from the same afternoon as the oil
sketches. Chuck was able to come for a couple hours.
He is so patient and engaging. We have great
conversations while we work.
